I like hoppy beers like pale ales and IPAs because they tend to be crisp and clean and have more genuine flavor than lagers. However, some are so strongly-flavored they become a little too robust for their own good. Brown’s Pale Ale is a good example of this as it has the usual makings of a strong pale ale, but might be a little too strong for some drinkers.

Appearance: Clear dark amber/light brown body, with some lively bubbles and a foamy beige head. Looks more like and English pale ale, as far as the colour goes.
Aroma: Fairly hoppy, with a floral feel to it. Some resinous pine notes; a hint of citrus, and a pretty good caramel maltiness. A touch of dark fruits, maybe cherries or plums.

This company has given me some good reason to reach for their brews in the past. This beer may have single-handedly changed that all for me. The lasting impression is rather interesting. To begin the aroma is that of tangerine-orange adjunct (syrup) nothing else, gives the impression your going to have a really similar experience taste-wise.
