pretty fantastic...much better in germany than in the us though

Great quaffing beer. Golden color with medium body. Bitterness is balanced and has a pleasant hop aroma. Clean finish. One of the finer German Helles beers.

A nice beer, but not spectacular. Some lovely malt flavors add some very nice complexity, and a quite refreshing aroma make it a very enjoyable beer, both on its own and with food. My palate has been altered by huge flavor American beers, so at first this comes off as a little boring, but it's grown on me and I'd gladly drink it again. Imagine a very good Budweiser, without the sort of cheap twanginess.
