It's been quite a while, but I used to enjoy this beer. I don't know if the beer is still the same today as it was years back. But I remember it being a bit darker gold and having a nice crisp maltyness. The hops were low, but noticeable. What I liked the most was the slightly higher malt profile. However, as this beer has become more popular, I wonder if the recipe changed to appeal more to the masses and became just another Light lager.
I tried Amstel Bright...yes Bright on the beach in a bar in St. Maarten. It was like making love in a canoe... f#*$%*# close to water!! But, for a $1.00\beer it was quite refreshing and who's to complain!!
Can be found in Canada but the only place I've ever tried it is Rwanda.
